Our services are provided in accordance with applicable Australian legislation and recognised food safety standards.
2. Professional Independence
Where audits are conducted as independent assessments, our auditors remain impartial and objective throughout the audit process.
Where consulting services are provided, recommendations are advisory in nature and implementation remains the responsibility of the client.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate information.
Allow reasonable access to facilities.
Provide requested documentation.
Ensure staff are available during audits where necessary.
Comply with applicable food safety legislation.
4. Quotes and Fees
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Additional work requested outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
5. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within the payment period stated on the invoice.
Late payments may incur interest or debt recovery costs where permitted by law.
6. Cancellation
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Where travel has already been arranged, reasonable travel expenses may also be charged.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, all documents, reports, templates and materials prepared by MDP SafeMetrix remain our intellectual property until payment has been received in full.
Clients may use reports solely for their internal business purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided using reasonable care and professional skill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MDP SafeMetrix is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from the use of our services or recommendations.
9. Confidentiality
Information provided by clients will be treated confidentially except where disclosure is required by law or authorised by the client.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
